Shelcans Entertainment is a youth empowerment Organization born out of passion to give back to the society. The organization is a brainchild of Oyawiri Sheila Onome’s My Culture My Pride initiative. Founded in 2014 under the watch of Creative Director/Manager, Eze Prince Justice, Shelcan Entertainment seeks to empower Nigeria’s youths at home and in Diaspora. Sheila is a lover of entertainment who derives joy in inculcating the vibes of art and culture in youths. She is an award winner of Miss Nollywood Peace 2014 and Best Resident Performing Queen of the year by Finest Girl Tourism Nigeria (FGTN) 2014.

MY CULTURE MY PRIDE SAVE A SOUL--MCMP-SAS (with the slogan: Our CULTURE, Our PRIDE! We do it, we are FULFILLED!) is a social welfare initiative founded in 2014 towards assisting youths and children who are exposed to cycles of high risk factors such as poverty income level or low economic status, low school attainment, gang violence, juvenile delinquency, substance abuse and teen parenthood Shelcans Entertainment, through this initiative, on 6th December, 2015 organized an exciting event at the Okuemi hotel (former Mimi suites) Warri to assist children with low school attainment. This event cannot be forgotten in a hurry in Warri assist was proudly supported and endorsed by the Ministry Of Basic and Secondary Education Delta State. Major highlight of the event was an Essay Writing Competition among students of secondary schools in Warri. The competition was designed as criteria "A" in reaching out to indigenous and indigent students.

Winners from this "My Culture My Pride-Save A Soul 2015" Secondary Schools Essay Competition event received one year scholarship award each at the grand finale which featured a combo pack with pageantry for children and musical glitz where youths had the privilege to meet their favorite artists, media personalities, role models among others.

Three students who became winners and were given scholarship awards at the grand finale are Okereke Precious (1st Winner), Dickson Akanimon (2nd Winner) and Ofodile Arinze (3rd Winner) and for the "Little Miss Culture 2015, (which was part of the main event) Miss Sharon Odume was crowned the queen while the 1st runner Miss Okiotojerho Lucy and 2nd runner Miss Udoh Akwaeno Christabel were given prize awards and benefits ranging from 12 months contract to include face of Shelcans Entertainment, special appearances in relative events, and features in the forth-coming movie and TV series respectively.

We urge prominent individuals and reputable organizations in both Delta State and in Nigeria also to demonstrate positive "Save A Soul" attitude by giving encouragement to youths through various gifts, materials, and funds to these talented indigent youths/children.

The event was indeed a memorable one as the Creative Director/Manager, Eze Prince Justice proposed to his beautiful heartthrob, Miss Nollywood Peace 2014 – Oyawiri Sheila Onome (the CEO Shelcans Entertainment)‎ same day which was a big surprise to Sheila herself and everybody in attendance. Shelcans Entertainment is an advocate for both youths and children in the society. The Youth on the streets are more of our children, not by birth but by LOVE. Let’s save many from the verge of suicide because Our CULTURE, our PRIDE! We do it, we are FULFILLED!
